Note an election for the position of interim Area Council Treasurer will take place at this meeting. The Treasurer's term will expire at the next Annual General Meeting in accordance with the West Fraser Valley Area Council by-laws.

Halloween is the last payday of the month and PSAC members across the province are gearing up to take action.

For several years, the Phoenix payroll system has not only disrupted our members’ pay, but it has also been collecting incorrect amounts of membership dues. Nearly 150,000 workers have been affected by this issue. After a lengthy delay, the government has brought changes to its system that allow for the correct amount in dues to be paid.
