  • Join us for the National Day of Mourning on April 28, 2019

    Co-hosted by: BC Federation of Labour, Vancouver & District Labour Council, Workers' Compensation Board of BC and Business Council of BC.

  • Please join the New Westminster & District Labour Council, Council of the City of New Westminster, the New Westminster Pipe Band, and Local Labour Leaders, including Linda Harding PSAC BC Regional Council Health & Safety Coordinatory, as we remember those in our communities killed or injured on the job and dedicate ourselves to making workplaces safer. We will gather for 11am by the concessions in the park to hear speakers and for a moment of silence before a short procession to lay flowers and wreaths at the 'W' monument.

  • The next Okanagan Human Rights Committee meeting will take place May 11 2019 at Gyro Park in Penticton, in advance of the South Okanagan Boundary Labour Council's May Day celebration. Join the Human Rights Committee for a meeting at 10:15 and stay for the Working People in Our Community Celebration from 11AM to 2PM. There will be entertainment, a kid's zone, community tables and food!
