  • On Sunday, March 4, 2018, family, friends and community members will gather to mark the 11th anniversary of the tragic and preventable deaths of three women farmworkers: Sukvinder Kaur Punia, Sarbjit Kaur Sidhu and Amarjit Kaur Bal, who were killed as they were being transported to work in an overcrowded and unsafe van on March 7, 2007.

    The ceremony will be followed by a candlelight procession to the Golden Tree Farmworkers Monument.
