Grievance time lines are one of the most important elements of problem solving. If we miss the initial filing of a grievance or the transmittal of grievances between levels we shortchange one or more of our members. In order to avoid this happening we have updated and posted several grievance time line flowcharts, more will follow for other bargaining units.

PSAC’s website now helps members connect with their local union representative. Find your local union contact and your collective agreement By choosing their employer, their job classification and the closest city to where they live, PSAC member can get phone and web contact information for their component or local as well as a link to their collective agreement.  The system is aimed at getting PSAC members answers to their questions about their job faster.

PSAC will be conducting a large poll of the membership as part of its ongoing process to ensure that your voices are heard and that your priorities are reflected in the work of our union.Environics Research Group, a well-known and respected polling firm, will be conducting the online survey for PSAC, asking questions about union priorities.

To: PSAC DCL and Separate Employer Unit Locals.Per section 9 of the PSAC BC Regional Bylaws, we will be holding an election for a delegate to represent Directly Chartered Locals and Separate Employer Units (who are not entitled to an automatic delegate) at the upcoming PSAC BC Regional Convention.

A tentative agreement was reached June 27th, 2013, between the PSAC and Purolator Inc. The tentative agreement is subject to ratification by both parties. The PSAC bargaining team strongly recommends voting yes for this new agreement. Please take the time to come out and vote.Please look at the table below for the date time and place of the ratification meeting nearest you.

We are happy to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached with Purolator Inc. Your bargaining team is confident in recommending this deal to the membership. PSAC/UPCE Local 20095 members are holding their second round of bargaining with Purolator Inc. this week, beginning June 24th.This time, members are showing their solidarity and support by wearing "I support my bargaining team" stickers and temporary tattoos all week.

Last week (May 13-17) your bargaining team held some productive discussions negotiating with Purolator Inc. For the majority of the week, the parties addressed non-monetary issues.We came to an agreement on a number of issues, some related to:site harmonizationlayoffs and recallWe also made some general housekeeping changes that will make the collective agreement easier to understand.
