The 2012 BC Regional Health & Safety Conference has been tentatively scheduled for February 24-26, 2012 in Vancouver.
We are currently seeking members who are willing to play a leading role in the organization of the 2012 H&S Conference. The organizing team will work closely with James Little and myself and will be expected to provide their services up to and during the conference.
If you wish to join us on the organizing committee please review the following for instructions on our criteria and application process.
Criteria for 2012 BC Regional H&S Conference, Organizing Committee Members
- British Columbia Regional Union Safety and Health (BRUSH) Committee member (preferred)
- Health and Safety Activist (preferred)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Willing to commit to the project both pre and post conference date.
- Former organizing experience an asset.
Please note:
Committee meetings will be held by teleconference and/or in person. Every attempt will be made to hold the meeting during evenings and weekends.
We ask that you confirm your availability and demonstrate how you meet the criteria by completing the attached application form (below). Additionally, please outline any issue you would like to see covered at the conference and how we could incorporate your ideas into the conference.
