PSAC BC will be hosting a table at the Lapu-Lapu Day Block Party on Saturday, April 26 near John Oliver Secondary in South Vancouver. This vibrant community event runs from 11 AM to 8 PM. Whether you can join us for an hour or two—or stay longer—we’d love your support in connecting with the community and sharing who we are.

What is Lapu-Lapu Day?
It’s one of Vancouver’s biggest community events! Last year, an incredible 60,000 people attended, celebrating the legacy of Filipino Indigenous leader Datu Lapu-Lapu, who led the resistance against Spanish colonization. The event also honors the rich history and contributions of the Filipino community in BC.

This is a high-visibility opportunity to engage with thousands of community members, celebrate diversity, and highlight the work PSAC members do to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion.
