Election day: time off to vote

PSAC members are reminded that by law, everyone who is eligible to vote must have three consecutive hours to cast their vote on election day, September 20 2021.

If your hours of work do not allow for three consecutive hours to vote, your employer must give you time off. Your employer has the right to decide when the time off will be given. For more information see elections.ca.

With over 215,000 PSAC members across Canada, we can make a real difference this election by electing a government that supports Canadian workers and their families.
