Vancouver Area Council BBQ

The PSAC Vancouver Area Council is once again hosting their annual BBQ for PSAC members! Join us for food, games, and the opportunity to meet and network with fellow union members.

• July 19, 12 to 3 PM
• Memorial Park South, Vancouver – behind the pond at 41st and Prince Albert, map here. We’ll be at the picnic area.

All PSAC members and their families are welcome to attend.

To help us plan for food, please RSVP by July 17 using the form below.

Please bring chairs or a blanket to sit on as well as your own cutlery, plates, and drink containers etc. to help us reduce waste. If you’re interested in helping the Area Council set up, volunteers will be meeting at the park at 10 AM.

BBQ Attendees Encouraged to Bring Donations of New Items for Atira

As part the day’s events, the Vancouver RWC will be collecting donations for Atira Women’s Resource Society. Atira is a not-for-profit organization committede to the work of ending violence against women. BBQ attendees are encourage to bring new, unused items donations such as:

• Women’s pajama sets, socks, underwear or slippers (new only)
• Women’s self-care items, razors, shaving cream, makeup, perfume
• Children’s clothing (new only)
• Toys, puzzles and games
• Towels, pillows, bedsheets
• Kitchen items/pots/pans/cultery
• Gift cards
