We are pleased to announce that PSAC BC will be hosting an Activist Summit on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29, 2025. This conference is a fully funded event for selected participants.
The Summit is scheduled for Friday, March 28 from 9:00 AM until Saturday, March 29 at 3:00 PM. All participants are expected to attend the full conference.
PSAC BC members will gather to sharpen their skills, discover new tools, and strengthen their impact in campaign work and political action. With the energy of the recent provincial election still fresh, the Summit will focus on key strategies to drive meaningful change, including:
- Building Collective Power: Harness our shared strength to create positive, lasting change.
- Effective Lobbying: Make your voice heard where it matters most.
- Membership Mobilization: Unite and energize PSAC BC members for collective action.
The application deadline is Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 11:59 PM Pacific. PSAC BC members in good standing can apply using the online form available here. Participants will be reimbursed for loss of salary and/or provided with union leave with pay authorization for the days attendees would normally be scheduled to work during the Summit. There will be no overtime compensation.
More information about travel and loss of salary will be available as part of the full participants’ package, which confirmed attendees will receive at a later date.
Members selected as participants for the Summit will be advised by email and/ or telephone. In your application form, please ensure you provide us with contact coordinates that you will have access to during the months of February and March.
