Our PSAC-UCTE bargaining team for UCTE Local 20209 reached a tentative agreement with the employer earlier in March.
A ratification vote for PSAC-UCTE members at the Victoria Airport Authority is scheduled to take place Tuesday, April 7 at 5 PM Pacific Time. The meeting will be held at the firehall at the AOC, located at 9751 Dakota Road in North Saanich.
PSAC will be hosting a mandatory information session on Tuesday, April 7 at 5 PM Pacific, followed by the ratification vote.
To be eligible to vote, PSAC-UCTE members need to:
- Be a member of the bargaining unit; and
- Attend the information session held prior to the ratification vote.
Members will receive the ratification kit via email, including the text of the tentative agreement, prior to the in-person ratification process. This document is internal and confidential to PSAC-UCTE members working at the Victoria Airport and should not be shared outside the membership. Questions will be dealt with at the meeting, and printed copies of the ratification kit will be available.
