About Céline Ahodekon

Céline Ahodekon (she/her/elle) is your PSAC BC Racialized Members Coordinator, a role she’s held for six years. With two decades of union activism experience, Céline has held several leadership roles including UNE Local 20278 President, Vice-President, and Chief Steward; UNE National Equity Representative; and serving on the Parks Canada bargaining team. She also sat on the organizing committee of PSAC BC’s first ever conference for racially visible members.

In her third term as Racialized Members Coordinator, Céline will continue to provide strong leadership and advocacy through her involvement in equity, human rights, political action, and member engagement initiatives. She will work to support members navigating workplace challenges, connect them with union resources, and amplify their voices within the union. Céline will also continue to build relationships through community and labour movement events, helping to strengthen the participation, visibility, and representation of racialized members and other equity-seeking groups across the region.

Céline works for Parks Canada at the Fort Langley National Historic Site as a heritage presenter, telling visitors about our shared history – something she is very passionate about.

Outside of work and union activism, you can find Céline sewing and singing.
