With the June announcement that the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board (FPSLREB) has agreed with with PSAC’s request to bypass the lengthy Public Interest Commission (PIC) process for both the CRA and PA bargaining units, bargaining teams for both units are currently reviewing the Board’s decisions and assessing next steps.
As we await more information from the bargaining teams, what remains critical is that members keep their information up-to-date with PSAC to ensure they received the latest updates and news.
Members can stay informed in the following ways:

Update your contact information: Update your contact information, including mailing address, email preferences, and banking details through the PSAC Member Portal.

Sign up for bargaining updates: Stay connected with the latest updates from the bargaining table.
Members are also encouraged to keep their membership status current by:

Signing a membership card: Make sure you’re a member in good standing by signing a PSAC membership card. Full members in good standing also enjoy all the benefits and programs offered by PSAC, such as the free $10,000 life insurance, and have a voice in the governance and administration of the PSAC.

Updating your membership status: Members who are on unpaid leave (e.g. maternity/parental leave, leave for family care, disability/injury leave, etc.) may request to have their membership in good standing (MIGS) maintained.
Your support is key to our success as we negotiate your new contract during this round of bargaining and continue to fight for fair wages, good working conditions and inclusive workplaces for federal public service workers.
