A ratification vote meeting was held on August 12 for members of UNDE Local 21018 at IMP Comox after a tentative deal was achieved by the bargaining team in July. Following a vote of the membership, the new deal was successfully ratified.
The new four-year collective agreement secures significant wage gains for all union members. Substantial gains were also made on the LMAs along with language improvement regarding vacation leave for members hired after July 1, 2026. The new agreement is retroactive to July 1, 2026 and expires June 30, 2030.

Approximately 40 PSAC-UNDE members of Local 21018 work for IMP Group at CFB Comox, maintaining the life-saving fleet of Cormorant search and rescue helicopters to ensure they are mission-ready.
