Bargaining Update for DCL 20500 – Wage Reopener

The Bargaining Committee of the Union is pleased to report that we have reached an agreement with the Employer on wages for April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027.

Because the current Collective Agreement is still in place, and members ratified an agreement with two separate wage reopeners during the course of the agreement, there will be no ratification process on the wage agreement.

The CVIY will be working to expedite the pay adjustments and members will see their new wage rates within the next two to three weeks. Retroactive pay adjustments will be calculated, and members will receive a separate cheque with monies owing back to April 1 of this year.

Updated wage scale information was emailed to all members of the bargaining unit. There are no other changes to the Collective Agreement. If you have any questions on the wage reopener or if you didn’t receive the email, please reach out the PSAC Regional Office or your Local Executive.
