Employment Transition Protections (ETP): Understanding your rights and taking effective action for CFIA members (Virtual) – 1.5 Hours

Who Should Attend: PSAC members impacted by Workforce Adjustment and who work at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). 

Description: Employment Transition Protections (ETP): Understanding your rights and taking effective action is a 90-minute module that provides PSAC members with a foundational understanding of the Employment Transition Policy protections.

The objectives of this training are to:

• Increase knowledge about the protections afforded through the ETP.
• Inform members affected by ETP about their rights and available recourse.
• Share the resources and tools PSAC provides to members affected by ETP.
• Encourage mobilization and solidarity between members facing service and employment cuts in the public sector.
• Equip members to better understand their rights in the face of organizational change.
