National Day of Awareness: Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women+

Each year on October 4, Sisters in Spirit vigils are held in the memory of Murdered & Missing Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S).

On Friday, October 4 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Grandview Park, join familes and advocates to bring awareness to the MMIWG2S crisis and honour the memory of Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit people taken through violence. This event is co-organized by the Union of National Employees, the Sexual Violence Support Centre and the Indigenous Women Rise Society and supported by the PSAC BC Vancouver Regional Women’s Committee,
