New West Pride Street Festival

Join PSAC BC on Saturday, August 15 from 3 PM to 8 PM for the New West Pride Street Festival on Columbia Street in downtown New Westminster. This year’s festival will feature a vibrant street festival, filled with community organizations, entertainment, food and celebration. All welcome for this family-friendly day!

The PSAC BC Mainland Human Rights Committee is proud to participate in New West Pride 2026 and invites PSAC BC members, friends, families and allies to join us in celebrating diversity, inclusion, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. New West Pride’s mission is to empower, celebrate, and promote inclusion, acceptance, and respect for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Interesting in helping out? If you’re a PSAC member interested in volunteering, please reach out to the Mainland Human Rights Committee (PSACBC-HRC-Mainland@psac-afpc.com). Volunteers are welcome to volunteer for one or as many hours as they would like. Volunteer responsibilities at the PSAC booth will include:

• Interacting with members of the public
• Answering basic questions about the federal public service and the work PSAC members perform
• Handing out swag items

Can’t volunteer? No problem, please swing by to say hello and pick up some PSAC BC swag. We’ll have colouring sheets, stickers, temporary tattoos and more!
