SV Bargaining Town Hall

PSAC BC is hosting a virtual Bargaining Town Hall meeting for Treasury Board members in the Operations Services (SV) Group on Friday, September 25 at 6 PM Pacific. The Town Hall will provide members with the opportunity to discuss the issues and ask questions specific to their bargaining group.

Please register in advance to attend this Town Hall. Registered attendees will receive the Zoom coordinates for the session by email.

The SV Group has distinct priorities and is following a different dispute-resolution process from the PA, EB and TC groups. This town hall is an opportunity to learn more about what that means, receive the latest update from the bargaining table following the September bargaining dates, and ask your questions directly.

Topics will include:

• What is binding arbitration, and why are SV members on this route?
• Why can’t SV members strike during this round of bargaining?
• What could reporting to work look like if members of other groups are on strike?
• How are SV-specific concerns being prioritized at the bargaining table?
• What are the latest developments in SV bargaining?
