PSAC’s For You, Canada campaign

PSAC’s For You, Canada campaign is about fighting back against these threats. We need a government that respects workers’ Charter right to join a union, upholds their access to free and fair collective bargaining, and ensures that all workers have access to fair labour standards in their workplaces. Public service workers keep Canada running – safeguarding borders, ensuring food and water safety, assisting farmers, delivering social programs, and responding to emergencies like wildfires. Without strong unions, these essential services are at risk.

Assessing Where the Parties Stand on Key Issues

Public service workers deliver the programs that keep Canada running — from disaster response and border security to pensions, infrastructure, and income support. These essential services are delivered by dedicated professionals across the country, and their stability depends directly on political decisions.

At the link below, you’ll find the PSAC’s party analysis tool, which offers a fact-based comparison of where the major federal parties stand on key issues affecting public services and the workers who deliver them.

Your Political Rights

PSAC members, like all Canadians, have the right to take part in the democratic process.

PSAC has prepared an FAQ that explains how to exercise your political rights while following any necessary guidelines and restrictions, helping you avoid any issues at work.

If you have questions or need more guidance, contact your PSAC regional office. They can explain your rights and responsibilities and offer support if needed.
