The Joint Learning Program (JLP) has developed a two-day in person workshop entitled Creating a Healthy, Safe, and Inclusive Culture: Training for Occupational Health and Safety Committee Members which is now available for members in the federal public service.
It was developed following a joint study confirming the need for a high quality, comprehensive and common learning program for all OHS committee members and representatives.
Workshop Details
Co-designed and co-facilitated by union and employer representatives, these participatory workshops will be held between September and December 2022, in 15 cities across the country. Participants will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a positive contribution on their OHS Committees.

Topics include legal and regulatory frameworks, roles and responsibilities, hazard identification and prevention, workplace harassment and violence prevention, psychosocially healthy workplaces, workplace inspections, internal complaint processes and much more.
