Labour Day 2022

Labour Councils are sponsoring Labour Day picnics and celebrations in communities throughout BC and PSAC BC Area Councils will be hosting tables and booths at many of them – all members are encouraged to drop by, say hello, and learn more about our union and the labour movement. Watch this space for details as we receive them.

Vancouver

  • Labour Day at Trout Lake Park hosted by the Vancouver & District Labour Council

This will be a free, fun, family-friendly event featuring live entertainment, children’s activities, food, and booths sponsored by a variety of labour and community organizations. There will also be a short rally with exciting guest speakers. All are welcome. The PSAC Vancouver Area Council is hosting a booth featuring kids games and information about PSAC campaigns.

Victoria

The PSAC Victoria Area Council is hosting a booth at the Saanich Fair over the Labour Day weekend. Drop by and say hello and consider volunteering to help staff our booth. More information.

Join us for a free, family friendly picnic on Labour Day. There will be food, kids’ games and activities, live music and lots of great solidarity from 11:30am-2:30pm. Minister of Labour Harry Bains will be our featured speaker! Everyone welcome.

Prince George

Abbotsford
