About Monica Racz

Monica Racz (she/her) is your PSAC BC South Vancouver Island Coordinator, the Victoria Area Council Vice-President, and UNDE Local 21008 Vice-President. Monica also sits on the Vancouver Island Regional Women’s Committee.

With six years of union activism, Monica first got involved through the movement to unionize the Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) profession in BC.

Monica is task-driven and motivated by the need to help others. She loves working within a team, especially when everyone comes together to complete a goal or to support others. During her 2026-2029 term, Monica will focus on giving back to the community and encouraging members to get involved. Whether through mobilization or mentorship, it’s important to give back.

In her spare time, Monica enjoys travelling when she can and eating dumplings!
