On April 19th vote for a candidate that will stand up for public services

There are provincial by-elections scheduled for April 19th 2012 in Chilliwack-Hope and Port Moody-Coquitlam.

I encourage PSAC members in those ridings to review the attached information, which we have distributed whithin the membership living in Chilliwack-Hope and Port Moody-Coquitlam, in partnership with the Canadian Labour Congress and the BC Federation of Labour.

I also encourage members to find out more about the candidates: visit their websites or constituency offices, attend all-candidate’s meetings, or contact them in other ways – ask them how they plan to strengthen public services.

Your vote matters. This by-election is an opportunity for working people to send a strong message to Christy Clark’s Liberals – an opportunity to elect an MLA that will stand up for our community, for our families, and for our public services.

On April 19th, vote for a candidate that will stand up for public services.

In Solidarity,

Bob Jackson, Public Service Allianceof Canada, Regional Executive Vice-President, BC
