PSAC BC Political Action Committee Info
The PSAC BC Political Action Committee is a standig committee of the PSAC BC Regional Council.
The Committee provides advice to the REVP and the PSAC BC Regional Council on political
action campaigns, issues and concerns that affect PSAC members. The committee’s purpose and objectives include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Keeping informed about union campaigns and labour political action in the province.
- Promoting communication to members on political action issues
- Promoting education to members on how to lobby politicians/talking points on specific campaigns
- Serving as a mechanism to gather and vocalize political concerns of PSAC BC members
- Liaising with other like minded groups in BC to work on issues of mutual interest and/or concern
- Participating in appropriate labour political actions or conferences
