PSAC members at the First Nations Health Authority have a tenative agreement

We are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with the employer. The bargaining team is recommending that members vote for this agreement. Full details of the deal will be released well in advance of any vote, but the main highlights of the deal include:

  • Wage increases of:
    • First year: 5%
    • Second year: 4%
    • Third year: 3%
  • Substantial improvements to vacation leave:
    • 4 weeks of vacation starting after 3 years instead of 8
    • 5 weeks of vacation after 10 years instead of 16.
  • Improvements to the vision care and health spending account
  • Improvements to the per diems for those who travel for work
  • A change to the definition of headquarters area to ensure that members who travel for work are fairly compensated

We will be providing more information for all members about voting times, locations and processes.
