PSAC BC’s West Fraser Valley Area Council will be participating in the 22nd Annual Surrey Fest Downtown (originally known as the Whalley Community Festival) on June 18, 2022. This will be a great opportunity for our union to be out in the community to discuss current labour issues, social justice issues and share our current struggles with bargaining.
The event will be held at Holland Park (13428 Old Yale Rd, Surrey BC) from 11am to 4pm. The Area Council is looking for volunteers to come out and assist with set up, take down and to manage the table throughout the event. We’re asking volunteers for a two hour block of time. The area council will cover up to $15 for meal expenses at the event.

The PSAC Regional Office will also provide a shirt for all volunteers at the festival.
