A National Indian Residential School Crisis Line has been set up to provide support for former Residential School students and those affected. Emotional and crisis referral services are available by calling the 24-hour national crisis line at 1-866-925-4419.
Human Rights Committees
PSAC BC has three constitutionally-recognized Human Rights Committees. They meet regularly in person and virtually to discuss issues and plan events relating to PSAC’s Indigenous, Access, 2SLGBTQIA+ and Racialized Members caucus members.

We celebrate Equality Day every April 17 to mark the coming into force of the equality provisions in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The Charter was signed on April 17, 1982.
Black History Month panel discussions – now available
As part of Black History Month 2021, PSAC organized a series of panel discussions that looked at the issues facing Black workers and to honor the contributions of Black labour activists in this country. We are now making these discussions available online for everyone’s benefit.
