We celebrate Equality Day every April 17 to mark the coming into force of the equality provisions in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The Charter was signed on April 17, 1982.
Human Rights Committees
PSAC BC has three constitutionally-recognized Human Rights Committees. They meet regularly in person and virtually to discuss issues and plan events relating to PSAC’s Indigenous, Members with Disabilities, 2SLGBTQIA+ and Racially Visible caucus members.
